Still didn't go to school. I'm feeling a lot better now, though, so it's good that I took the day off. BUT my throat still hurts bad--I hope and pray it'll be okay tomorrow. Anywaaay, I did a couple of kind of fun things while everyone was away at school. Haha. I tried baking the cookie bar recipe my group chose for TLE and they turned out really good, but they were a little too sweet. Then I sewed a little part of my dance pro costume. Then I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (one of the VCDs which were on sale when I went to AstroVision. it may sound dorky and jologs, pero parang may mini collection na ko ng VCD copies ng old movies. kasi pag summer or pag break, pumupunta kong AstroVision. eh ang mura kaya ng VCDs ng old movies, 75-100 pesos lang. kaya humahakot ako, tapos nagmamarathon ako ng mga movies na dati pa pinalabas, most of which ay napanood ko na rin dati. haha. pero di ko pa napapanood yung eternal sunshine, kanina lang.). It was a little confusing and at the same time depressing at first, but it was okay. Here's a little quote from Kirsten Dunst's character who quoted Alexander Pope in his poem, "Eloisa to Abelard":

"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot, the world forgetting by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, each prayer accepted and each wish resigned."

I think you have to read the whole poem first before understanding what that means. I googled it, super haba. So wag na lang. Di ko na susubukang intindihin pa :)) Let's just all be left stunned by a poet's highfalutin words.
