Pause.
Hinga.
I badly need a breather.
So I'm giving myself a minute. To say hi to my blog. And to feel like I have all the time in the world. When I have zilch. HAHA. Labo much? Just so you know, ganito ang nagagawa ng 2-3 meetings sa isang forty-minute lunch break. Kaya pwede ba. For busy students' sake, CAN WE NOT HAVE AN HOUR LONG BREAK?
Just have to let it out.
So bukas. Tatlong meeting. Bago flag, recess, at lunch. Pero promise ko sa sarili ko na kakain ako kahit anong mangyari. Hindi ko pwedeng pabayaan ang aking body. Sohooo. Hindi ko alam kung pano talaga tutuparin. Pero I promise myself that for this whole school year, I will NEVER, EVER skip lunch or recess. Kahit magkanda-tapon tapon na yung pagkain sa notebooks/articles/requirements. Ah basta. I'll stay healthy.
K yun lang.
Ito na ata ang pinakamalabong post EVER.
Kailangan ko ayusin ang buhay ko. Hindi ko na talaga alam ang uunahin kasi :))
Okay. Game.
Play.

Changed my layout--finally! So watchathink? Tell me k? And if you know someone else who has it, I'll change it at once :DOh, and I already put up a picture for the Profile part, cause I still am (sadly) left speechless when it comes to describing myself. So yeah, I resorted to the picture thing so I could fill the space up :)) Does anybody know how to remove the picture size below my face? Kainis eh. HAHA. K yun lang. I'm sleeepyyyyy. Longer post soon. Bye!
----edit
I forgot! It's 12:20am...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHOT! :)
Happy birthday, chottie boy. You won't be able to read this but yeah. I'm greeting you anyway. Haha.
P.S. Don't be sad cause you're not "living a decade" anymore. 11 isn't such a bad age :P It's your last year of being a real kid. I bet this time next year, you won't be a girl-hater anymore. Can't wait! I wanna know who your first crush is gonna be.
Just don't forget the condition k?
She HAS to be a Theresian.
Love you :P

First staff assembly today. Can I just say? You all made my day :)
Seriously. Didn't mean to rhyme :)) But yeah. I'm happy. Thanks eds and staff. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm GENUINELY excited to work with all of you. And yes, I do know how hard it's gonna be. Still. I THINK I'm finally ready :)

I have no idea if I'm sane (and awake) enough to write an entry, but I feel like I "owe" my blog one. Haha :)
It's been 10 days since school started, and yes, I am already feeling kinda haggard and stressed. I have the zits and eye bags to prove it. Plus, I think I'm getting a fever. Not that I blame my imperfect health condition on all the stuff I have to do for school and the mag, but yeah, I am getting a cold with (ugh) cough and everything. The past two weeks have been totally crazy, and I just cannot afford to get sick right now! Literal, bawal magkasakit sa panahong ito. Which is why I gobble up a thousand milligrams of my trusty Vitamin C everyday :))
So far, senior year is proving to be truly tiring and sometimes I wonder if I could even get through it emotionally and socially unscathed. I mean, the school work I can still handle. The Mag is a whole different thing. Lately I've been having a lot of meetings, and last week I only got to have one forty-minute lunch out of the 4 school days. So you know, I can't help but wonder how I could keep up with my friends and at the same time fulfill every single duty I have.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not complaining at all. Sometimes I secretly find it exciting--you know, there are small bursts of adrenaline in panicking about an announcement that has to be made or an event that needs to be covered by a Mag photographer or checking audition pieces for the nth time before submitting it to Mrs. O, our moderator. It's in the little stressful things like that that I feel like I'm doing something important. That I am important, and that I'm not wasting my time bumming around. Besides that, being involved in the school organ does have other perks. Last Wednesday, tryouts were held for the different positions. And seriously, I can't explain how CUTE I found the writers, staring hard at their papers and concentrating like crazy. I badly wanted to take pictures of them! That was such a PROUD MOMMA moment for me :)) Thanks to everyone who auditioned! :)
Anyway, enough about school and the mag. I've been meaning to change my layout since summer ended, but I never really had a chance to stay online long. Nonetheless, I will try to find something new.
I just got back from Eastwood. My titas plus my cousins and I watched Made of Honor. It was a total chick flick, but I'd be such a liar if I say I don't enjoy those Rom-Coms that lack depth or whatever. There's no point in trying to sound smart and deep anyway. I say that in doing so, you're simply not being true to yourself. So admit it, you'd prefer a chick flick over, say, a documentary about the 9/11 any day. Haha. And Patrick Demspey was there, so really, what could go wrong? :P It's such a funny movie. More comedy than romance. As in, it was an LOL kind of thing :))
Since we had our PE class (aerobics and stretching to Sexyback and My Humps, hello!), I've been lusting over a comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. And I'm finally gonna be able to crash on those tonight. After having gone through these crazy weeks, I think I very much deserve a looooong, undisturbed sleep.
And so do you :)

With only five days of freedom left and the doom of senior year looming over our heads, I decided to take one last look at Summer '08 and gratefully absorb every happy memory I've made with the people I love. Surely I can survive 10 whole months of work, stress, horrific college application forms and entrance exams with snippets of all the good times I've had tucked somewhere in my head (and heart). If future stressful situations should call for a few minutes of calming-down, all I have to do is to go back to the blissful, lazy hot days of summer--my ultimate happy place AND time :)
That said, here is a list of the highlights of my Summer 2008 (arranged randomly):
1. The Craziest Events
Kuya Mike and Ate Tanya's Wedding

First of 30++ cousins to get married.
Ate JB's Debut

I can't believe how FAST people are growing so OLD!!
2. LSC Review with my LOVES
Everyday was a blast with you :)
3. Twilight Saga

So I joined the bandwagon and fell in love with the famous saga. I enjoyed these books a LOT! Perfect for the usual lazy summer day--lounging on the couch with a Stephenie Meyer novel in hand :)
4. RedBox Sessions

2 Things I love a LOT: karaoke and friends. HAHA. Nothing beats singing (screaming) JOY-songs (i.e., Aegis and the like) with them :))
5. Beaches/Outings
Zamby (Putipot)
On our favorite island in Zambales--Putipot! And that's our favorite tree, too :p
Vigan
Vigan was worth the looong 9-hour drive. Crazy huge waves, old Spanish houses, kalesas... FUN!
Boracay

6. Parasailing
It was such a different kind of HIGH, so I thought it deserved a separate number from Boracay. Seriously worth every cent of our parents' money :)) You HAVE to try it sometime!
7. Swimming, Swimming, Swimming!
Random swimming days with cousins. Club Manila East, Town&Country Clubhouse.
:)
------
That ends the list of my most vibrant Summer 08 memories. Hope you all had as much fun as I had this vacation, and that we'll all have a rocking senior (or junior, sophomore, freshman) year!
